The Ross Canister System is probably the best moisture control system on the market today. This system will control the amount of moisture that will flow to the reeds. This system is used by many of the top pipe bands in the world today, and continues to be the system of choice by top players. The system comes with 4 hoses (bass, outside tenor, inside tenor, chanter) a canister with lid, a replacement canister tape, and instruction manual. Individual parts are also available.

Yellow Waxed Hemp - Yellow waxed hemp is used as a replacement to, or in combination with plain yellow hemp. The Yellow waxed hemp is the same material as plain yellow hemp, however it is pre-coated with wax, so there is no need for applying beeswax to the hemp to strengthen it. Having your pipes hemped-up properly is one of the most important maintenance aspects on your bagpipe. It will help with proper tuning, and air efficiency.

Chanter Tape - This is a non-slip chanter tape that does not peel or fray. Additionally the quality of the adhesive allows for re-application of the tape and leaves no residue on the chanter. The tape can be easily torn for the roll and is moisture and heat resistant.

It has a 3/8” bore, making it easier to blow your pipes. The built-in Little Mac is larger to prevent any restriction.
